- Venue: Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch, London
- Dates: 19th / 20th February and 5th / 6th March.
The qualification in the minimum required to teach in a Further Education College. It is recommended that all trainers either full or part time undertake this qualification.
The price has been reduced from £600 plus VAT to £300 plus VAT.
Price includes, registration with City & Guilds, workbook, assignment and validation of a 30 minute micro-teaching session.
Places are strictly limited so will be offered on a first come first served basis.

MPQ Training recently attended the American Embassy to present a group of candidates with their NVQ Certificates in Providing Security Services and Customer Service.
Congratulations - Paul Cragg
Congratulations to one of our long standing Assessors, Paul Cragg, who has just received accreditation from City & Guilds to teach Physical Intervention Training. This is a one day course plus a workbook aimed at all new Door Supervisors as part of the SIA qualifications.
Paul has such a depth of experience that he is also accredited to offer Physical Intervention Training for Trainers as well. This is a 5 day course plus workbook aimed at those qualified trainers who wish to teach Physical Intervention Training.
MPQ Training will be working in partnership with Paul to offer these new workshops to all new Door Supervisors.
This training should also be considered as Continuous Professional Development for all existing Door Supervisors.

Jona and Mathew also passed the City & Guilds 7303 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector. This is the minimum qualification required to teach in Further Education Colleges.
Current Marketing Activities being Undertaken
Current Marketing Activities being undertaken:
- Direct Mail with ‘Apprenticeships’ marketing letter s and new MPQ Training marketing leaflets to all colleges in London and the South East. 100+ letters & marketing leaflets
- Direct Mail with ‘Physical Intervention’ letters to all Security Guarding companies in London, Surrey, and Sussex. 300+ letters and marketing leaflets.
- Direct Mail with Apprenticeships marketing letter offering: Key Skills Training, ICT, Technical Certificate e.g. SIA qualification followed by and NVQ / QCF. This is now a key focus of government funding. 400+ letters and marketing leaflets.
- Direct e.mails to 300+ names on our database providing a copy of our new marketing leaflet.
- Photographs are being taken this month for all of our successful candidates which can be used on both the MPQ Training website and the websites of the candidates’ employers.
- Website being refreshed and updated with new courses and additional customers.
